Parking

MHP 123 St George Street- Complimentary parking spots are located behind our entrance with signage “MHP Parking all others towed” Additional street parking (2 hours free) on St George Street at our entrance or on Ann Street just south of the train tracks.

Chiropractic

Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventative care. Our team of chiropractors have evolved from traditional chiropractic therapy to include treatments such as soft tissue therapy, contemporary medical acupuncture, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, kinesio and athletic taping, manipulation, and functional rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy is a primary care, autonomous, patient-focused health profession dedicated to improving quality of life by: Promoting optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness; Preventing disease, injury, and disability; Managing acute and chronic conditions, activity limitations, and participation restrictions; Improving and maintaining optimal functional independence and physical performance; Rehabilitating injury and the effects of disease or disability with therapeutic exercise programs and other interventions; and Educating and planning maintenance and support programs to prevent re-occurrence, re-injury or functional decline.

Dr. J. Alex Coulson, is an experienced chiropractor that helps his patients manage pain, stay pain free and reach their maximal potential. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in Human Kinetics. He then continued his education at the New York Chiropractic College completing both his Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Anatomy and Physiology Instruction. Dr. Coulson is certified in Active Release Therapy (ART), Functional Integrated Acupuncture, RockTape and Applied Kinesiology, as well, he is working towards his International Sport Certificate. Dr. Coulson has gained experience treating a wide range of patients from US Veterans, elderly individuals, students, elite athletes and almost everyone in between.

Dr. Coulson loves sports and has always been very active from playing hockey and skiing in the winter to waterskiing in the summer. In his free time, he enjoys playing recreational sports, hanging out at the cottage or walking his goldendoodle, Ollie.

Blair Hennessey has a diverse background as an athlete and now as a physical therapist. He grew up playing competitive hockey and soccer before joining the Canadian Forces as an Infantryman, serving 9.5 years. However, he always had a passion for Physical Therapy and knew that’s where he would end up. Blair is a graduate of the Western University Master of Physical Therapy program and utilizes a combination of exercise-based therapy alongside Functional Dry-Needling with IMS, joint mobilization, and soft-tissue release to achieve patient-centred goals and restore function.

Blair has a background in strength and conditioning, which he leans on in developing patient-centred treatment plans for people of all ages and backgrounds. Blair also holds his Sports First Responder and has provided on and off-field Physical Therapy care to several varsity sports teams, including Football, Men’s Hockey, Men’s Basketball, Track and Field / Cross-Country, Swimming, and recently, Professional Soccer. Blair has experience with common musculoskeletal injuries, pain, dysfunction and post-operative Shoulders, Hips, Knees, and Ankles as a part of his clinical experience and while on placements during his Master of Physical Therapy.

When not in the clinic, Blair swims, bikes, and runs to train for Ironman Triathlons, volunteers with Concussion Legacy Foundation, loves walking his dog, and is working toward acquiring his Diploma in Sports Physical Therapy.
